Every Thursday is a weekly event that people from the community look forward to. There is no charge, only a donation to the coffee sack. We are proud of the exposure for rural ministry but more proud of the laughter, lively conversation and friendship of the people who come each week.  The donuts that we serve are donated by Willard’s Bakery in Athens are are really enjoyed by all. Coffee Break is not a fundraiser, but a partnership with the wider church of “people helping people”. Some people brought books for sharing and we now have an active read and return or purchase for a nominal fee program as part of this weekly event
